Terms & Conditions
Welcome to TwoRuby. By using our website and mobile applications, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TwoRuby services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal
Certain features of our applications (such as Premium features in Plant30, or Pro features in Chalkbook) are offered via auto-renewable subscriptions.
- Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID (App Store) or Google Account (Google Play) at the confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Managing Subscriptions: You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings on the App Store or Google Play after purchase.
- Refunds: All refund requests are subject to the policies of the respective App Store. TwoRuby is not responsible for processing refunds.
3. Medical Disclaimer (For Health-Related Apps)
The information provided in our health-tracking applications is for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice. Always consult with a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or lifestyle based on app data.
4. Chalkbook — Terms for Teachers
Chalkbook is a grade book used by teachers, which means that unlike our other apps it holds information about other people — your pupils. The following terms apply to you as the teacher using it.
- Your authority to record pupil data: you confirm that you are entitled to record the pupil information you enter, in your professional capacity and in line with the rules of your school and your country. You decide what to record; we do not require any particular field, and the student ID, parent phone number and date of birth are all optional.
- Accuracy is yours: grades, attendance and comments are exactly what you enter. We do not check, verify or correct them. If a parent queries a record, it is between you and them.
- Comments reach parents: comments you write alongside grades and daily records are shown to that pupil's parent once you publish a class. The app tells you this next to each field. Use the private note field — which never leaves your device — for anything not intended for parents.
- Parent links are secrets: each pupil's link contains a private code, and anyone holding it can see that pupil's record. Send each link only to that pupil's own parent or guardian, and never post links to a class group or shared channel. If a link reaches the wrong person, use the app's revoke function, which makes the old link stop working immediately.
- Keep your own records: Chalkbook stores your data on your device, and to our cloud only when you choose to publish or back up. It is a working tool, not an official system of record. Do not rely on it as your only copy of anything you are required to keep, and use the export and backup features for that purpose.
- Your account: cloud features require signing in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for the security of that account and of any device on which your pupil data is stored.
5. Use of Service
You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes. Some of our apps use anonymous authentication and others require you to sign in; in either case you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, and of your account where one exists, to protect your app data.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, and software provided by TwoRuby (including the Plant30: Gut Health Tracker and Chalkbook brands) are the property of TwoRuby and are protected by intellectual property laws. The information you enter into our apps remains yours.
7. Service Availability
We aim to keep our services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Cloud features depend on third-party infrastructure and on your internet connection, and may be unavailable at times. Apps that work offline continue to do so regardless.
8. Limitation of Liability
TwoRuby shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services. Use of the apps is at your own risk. In particular, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data you have not backed up, or for the consequences of information you choose to record or share through our apps.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Contact Us
If you have any questions regarding these Terms, please contact us at: tworubystudio@gmail.com. For how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.
